Barebow
A barebow is a stripped-down recurve bow with no modern aiming aids. Archers rely on technique and reference points on the bowstring or arrow to aim.

Traditional Archery is the oldest style of archery. Bows have no modern tech designed to aid stability. Instead archers shoot primarily off their own hand or off of a bow shelf. Most bows are made of natural materials

Olympic Recurve
This is the format for the Summer Olympic Games. These recurve bows are outfitted with sights and stabilizers and clickers in order to aid the archer to reach impressive distances with great accuracy.

Compound
This is the most modern and accurate style of archery. A compound bow utilizes technology to make the weight of the bow virtually disappear when at full draw. Archers may also use magnified sights and stabilizers along with trigger releases to improve accuracy .
